The count type labels how you've scoped the work, which helps you and your reviewers understand what was counted and why. You still choose the exact locations on the create form.

What are the four types?
- Full Count — a complete stocktake of the selected locations, for when you want everything checked.
- ABC Analysis — your highest-value or fastest-moving items, which are worth counting more often.
- Location-Based — a specific zone, aisle or bin, ideal for a rolling programme.
- Random Sample — a spot-check to gauge overall accuracy without counting everything.
Tip. A rolling programme of small location-based counts usually beats one big yearly full count. Variances surface while they're still easy to trace.
