Optimise a product for search
On the SEO tab, set the SEO title, meta description, focus keyphrase and URL slug, with a live search preview.
The SEO tab controls how a product appears in search results. A live preview shows roughly how the listing will look so you can fine-tune it.

How do I optimise a product for search?
- Open a product and click the SEO tab.
- Write an SEO Title. Aim for 50–60 characters; the counter turns orange if you go long.
- Add a Meta Description of around 150–160 characters that encourages clicks.
- Set a Focus Keyphrase (the main term you want to rank for) and tidy the URL Slug.
- Add internal Search Keywords if you want, then click Update Product.
Tip. Include your focus keyphrase in both the title and the description, and keep the slug short and descriptive.
