Common questions
A product won't publish to a marketplace. Why?
Its internal category probably has no mapping for that marketplace and region. Open Marketplaces under Sales Channels and check the Uncategorized internal categories list. If the category is there with a Missing tag, map it.
An amber banner says a category was retired. What do I do?
eBay periodically retires categories, and the next publish into a retired one is rejected. Open the affected category, pick a current replacement in the picker, and click Save default.
I saved a mapping but my old listings didn't change. Why?
Saving only sets the default for future publishes. To update listings already out there, use Apply to existing listings under the saved mapping.
Copy to another region didn't fill in the category. Is that a bug?
No. Each region uses different category IDs, so copy only points you at the right region's picker. Choose the matching category there and save it.
A mapping shows a "please review" note. What does that mean?
It was filled in from a suggestion rather than confirmed by a person. Check it's right and click Save default to confirm it.
No marketplaces appear to map. Where are they?
You haven't connected one yet. Connect eBay or Amazon under Integrations, and only the regions you actually sell on will show up.
Bulk-apply did nothing for Amazon. Why?
Applying a mapping to existing listings runs for eBay only right now. Amazon support comes in a later release.
