Add images per variant value

On the Variants & Inventory tab, upload one image per option value, such as one photo per colour, shared across all sizes.

For variant products you can attach a photo to each option value, typically one per colour, and it applies automatically to every variant that shares that value.

How do I add an image per colour?

1. Open a variant product and go to the Variants & Inventory tab.
2. Scroll to the Variant images section. It appears once your variants have option values like Color.
3. Click Upload under an option value and pick an image. JPG, PNG and WebP are accepted.
4. The image now shows for every variant with that value, for example all sizes of the sage planter.
5. To replace it, remove the current image with the × and upload a new one.

Tip. Use variant images for colour swatches and the main Images tab for the shared lifestyle and detail shots.
