Set shipping weight, dimensions and class

The Shipping tab captures the primary SKU's weight, dimensions, shipping class and flags like free shipping or hazmat.

The Shipping tab covers the primary SKU's physical measurements and handling rules. Accurate details here mean accurate rates at checkout and with your carriers.

How do I set shipping details?

1. Open a product and click the Shipping tab.
2. Under Dimensions & Weight, enter the weight and the length, width and height. Add a separate Shipping Weight only if it differs from the actual weight.
3. Pick a Shipping Class, and for freight add a Freight Class and NMFC Code.
4. Set Shipping Flags such as Requires Shipping and Free Shipping.
5. For international or dangerous goods, fill in Customs & Hazmat (HS Code, UN Number, Hazmat Class).

Tip. These settings apply to the primary SKU. Products with variants can have shipping details set per SKU.
