Refresh tracking

Open Shipment Actions → Refresh Tracking to pull the latest carrier scan so a shipment's status matches where the parcel is.

After a label is bought, the carrier scans the parcel as it moves. Refreshing tracking pulls the latest scan so the shipment's status matches reality, which helps when a customer asks where their order is.

How do I refresh tracking?

  1. Open an order that has a tracking number.
  2. Open the Shipment Actions menu.
  3. Click Refresh Tracking.

The refresh is queued and the shipment updates a moment later. If there's no tracking number yet, there's nothing to refresh and you'll be told so.

Tip. Tracking updates flow in on their own too. Use a manual refresh only when you need an answer right now, such as during a customer call.
