Print a label

A purchased label opens ready to print in your carrier's Default Label Format. Reopen the order to reprint without buying again.

When you buy a label it opens ready to print, in the format your carrier configuration is set to. You can also reopen it later from the order's shipment without buying again.

A purchased label ready to print

How do I print and reprint?

  1. Buy the label with Create + Print Label. The printable label opens on its own.
  2. Print it from your browser, or send it to a connected thermal printer.
  3. To reprint later, reopen the order and print the existing label. No second purchase is made.

Which format does it print in?

The label follows your carrier configuration's Default Label Format. PNG and PDF suit regular printers; ZPL or EPL suit thermal label printers.

Tip. Printing on a 4×6 thermal printer? Set Default Label Format to ZPL (Thermal Printers) in Settings → Shipping Carriers for the crispest barcodes.

Common questions

Does reprinting a label cost money?

No. Reopening the order and printing the existing label reuses the label you already bought. The carrier is only charged at the original purchase.

How do I change the label format?

Set the Default Label Format on the carrier under Settings → Shipping Carriers. PNG and PDF work on standard printers; ZPL and EPL are for thermal printers.
